The HEXA at Christmas

Last Christmas day, I was invited to attend an event by Tata Motors where fun and cars mix to feed joy, curiosity, and adventurism to people like me. It was a good day, the weather and temperature were just right to spend outdoors, so with sunscreen and sunglasses in hand, together with my husband, a car-enthusiasts, and my son, a hyperactive toddler, we made our way to see what #HexaExperience we could get.

On the way, not being familiar with the place, we missed a turn and as a result, we had to drive back for another 10 minutes, but after that, the place was hard to miss because of the big billboards scattered along the road with the #HexaExperience signs. The event was held in White Orchid in Hebbal. The place has both huge indoor and outdoor spaces. Upon entering the gate, we were offered for valet parking but we chose not to so we could pick a shady parking place. As we’re heading to the parking place, we saw that some people were already enjoying the off-road race course, with couples of cars trekking the obstacle course in Tata Hexa cars. It was a sight to behold when the cars were almost on their two side wheels, or when they were climbing on the very high steel bridge and stopping in the middle of the slope, a really gasp-moment must I say.

After the registration, where we also signed for a test drive, we checked out several stalls and booths in the convention hall. There were many Tata products on display such as the jewelry, insurance, clothes, even the Tata tea! Aside from Tata products, there was also playpen for kids and other children activities stuff. My son had a blast running around and trying out games like fishing and making frogs hop. We also met with people and dogs from Care, an animal shelter, who offers adoption for dogs. There were also food stalls like Dominos and Dunkin Donuts. We loved the live band playing lively music while we sip tea and gobble pizza.

We also met with the people from Indiblogger who assisted us with fast tracking the test drive since my toddler was already acting up, he doesn’t have the longest patience in the world :p. We went for the off-road course but we decided not to try it since my toddler wasn’t allowed due to the risk so we just watched on the sideline as the Hexa flipped back in forth coursing through the obstacle. It was really amazing how a car, packed with passengers, could overcome such obstacles without a huff when I remember being in a couple of incidents where our car was totaled when hit by a motorbike, and another one was stuck in a mud for ages despite being big and bulky. I tell you that it isn’t really nice to be in such a situation, you will always wish for a better car after that. Sometimes, and most oftentimes, it isn’t the comfort inside that is important but the power and strength of the car that matter.

The event was about the Tata Hexa, a premium UV which Tata Motors is proudly showcasing and I must say that they have enough reason to be proud of. Hexa has all the comfort that a passenger wants. It has a stylish and cool interior with fully packed features such as 6 airbags, lumbar supports, a wide leg and knee spaces, soft seat materials, retractable window sunblinds, 10 speaker JBL system, fully automatic temperature control, and much more. And of course, Hexa will be loved by drivers with its powerful and high capacity engine and 19” alloy wheels. It also has all the driver-friendly features that are mostly available in all premium SUVs like AWD, different drive modes, traction control system, ABS with EBD, steering mounted controls, parking sensors and camera, cruise control, power windows and Connectnext App Suite for the tech-savvy drivers.
Overall, the #HexaExperience was a joy to attend and if we’re planning to buy a new car, the Tata Hexa would definitely be considered.
